The Private Modern Queenswood Suite was a sanctuary for both my wife and I as we enjoyed a sabbatical year in Victoria. The beauty of the home and the surroundings made for a memorable stay. And our hosts, Darcy and Isabelle, went above and beyond making us feel welcomed and at home.

Hi, My wife and I used the Queenswood Suite stay for 17 days. The place was wonderful. We could both work efficiently (Zoom, VPN, etc). It was very modern and comfortable. We were able to walk and jog to many places within a few miles/kilometers. Everything is within a 20 min drive. All the houses are on big lots, so it really feels relaxing and 'in the woods'. The hosts live in the main part of the house. They are very pleasant. They allowed us to keep to ourselves as much as we wanted but were always there if we needed them. We will be back when our travels take us back to Victoria.

This was a beautiful property set in a quiet location and close to all amenities and beaches. It was very well appointed with state of the art appliances, and very comfortable bed. The owners are friendly and on hand.

This was an amazing find for us in Victoria. The hosts were exceptional, the location was fantastic and the Queenswood suite exceeded expectations - incredibly clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping. Can’t wait to go back

We just came back from a wonderful 2 night stay in the Queenswood...surroundings are quiet and we loved the natural forest feeling around us. The suite was excellent with great views of the trees from all the windows..the kitchen was really well equipped for us to cook a a great dinner! We enjoyed walking down to the beach, one is 5 minutes away and Gyro Beach is a lovely 15 minute walk. We'd gladly come again!

This property totally exceeded expectations!  The owners were amazing hosts.  This new home provided everything required from a fully stocked kitchen to multiple access points to neighbourhood beaches.  What a find!  Can’t wait to come back.

We were the first guests in this brand new suite that is attached to a new house. The house is very idyllically situated very close to the coast. We love this area because it is quiet and green and yet it is not far to Oak Bay, the University, Beach Drive and Dallas Road. It is also not far to downtown. You can walk to Cadboroy Bay. There is not only a sandy beach, but you can also shop for everything you need. There is also a Starbucks and restaurants. We had a rented car and therefore we do not know what the public transport is like. The arquitecture of the house and the suite is modern, plain and at the same time very cozy. Very comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable armchairs. Small terrace. The suite is very nicely bright and in the morning you can watch the sunrise. Mostly a few deer greet you. Isabelle and D'Arcy, the owners, live in the same building next door and are incredibly warm, open and helpful hosts and interested conversation partners. We can fully recommend the accommodation and would be happy to stay here again at any time. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
